Byl Miles was created after a father inspired a daughter to get running. Here you can read all about our running-inspired musings, training tips, gear reviews and all about the mileage. We hope you enjoy it, and that you get inspired to run your own race.
Here’s a little bit about both of us:
I am currently pursuing creativity in the mad men advertising world of Los Angeles, CA.
When I’m not studying or running, I’m pursuing one of my many hobbies, including travelling, cooking, reading, skiing, geeking out about social media, and in general living life in an optimistic way. A few of the things I’m a huge fan of are starbucks drinks, organization, cats, photography, event planning, lists, and stationery. I’ve visited almost all of the continents, but have a very long list of travels yet to come.
Aside from seeing the world, my goals in life are to never grow up, be successful enough, and always be happy. Follow me @kendallbyl on twitter for more updates!
My bio: Father of two wonderful young women, avid fitness participant, consultant to the financial services industry, fisherman, seriously amateur poet and cook, philanthropic volunteer. Really enjoy the outdoors, with dry land pursuits including road and trail running, cycling and snowboarding. A real passion for floating on, standing in or casting to salt or fresh water in pursuit of elusive finned friends.
My running began in junior high school, and I continued long-distance training for twelve years. After 21 years off the pavement, save for the 1988 NYC marathon, I put on the shoes once again five years ago and began distance running. Now it’s ultra events and triathlons. I’m in the best shape of my life.
